    Lewis brings together experience as a Trading Standards Officer, Product Compliance Manager at TK Maxx + Homesense (part of TJX Companies) and one of the Chartered Trading Standards Institute’s Lead Officers for Product Safety. He founded PSC to make product safety simple for brands and professionals.

Our Story (so far)

  • Launch

    Product Safety Collective launched in June 2025, and from the very start almost all of our work has come through recommendations — from clients, fellow consultants and our wider network. We think that says something about the way we work and the relationships we build. In just over a year, we've quietly been getting on with things we're really proud of.

  • TikTok Tuesdays

    We investigated the widespread availability of unsafe products on TikTok Shop and published our findings in a LinkedIn series that led to more than 30 product recalls and attracted national press coverage.

  • Raising Standards in PAT

    We launched a non-profit initiative to raise standards in the PAT sector, bringing a unique Trading Standards perspective to the challenge of identifying unsafe electrical products and tackling poor practice across the industry.

  • Training for Trading Standards Officers

    Lewis was asked to deliver some of the national product safety training for Trading Standards Officers on behalf of the Office for Product Safety and Standards — a recognition of our expertise and our ability to make complex topics practical and engaging.

  • CTSI Lead Officer for Product Safety

    Lewis was appointed as one of the Chartered Trading Standards Institute’s Lead Officers for Product Safety in the UK, recognising his expertise as a regulator, in the private sector and as a consultant.

  • Where we're gg

    We're growing our team, developing new training courses and building what we hope will become the go-to resource hub for product safety professionals. We launched our new website in July 2026, and we've got exciting plans for what comes next.
